The rest of the league

Alongside the traditional clubs, Serie A is made up of teams each with their own regional story: from Atalanta (Bergamo) and Fiorentina (Florence) to Torino, Bologna, Lazio and the other clubs that can spring a real surprise any season. For the 2026-2027 season, Venezia, Frosinone and Monza are the clubs promoted from Serie B. Each season, promotion brings new opponents and fresh fixtures with it. You can read more about exactly how promotion and relegation work in our guide on how Serie A works.
