All 18 UCI WorldTeams and 4 ProTeams take part in the Renewi Tour 2026, 22 teams in total. Each team's individual start list will only be confirmed after the official team presentation on 18 August in Diest. This page will be updated once that's known.
How many riders start?
Since the UCI updated its regulations in 2020, a team in a stage race such as the Renewi Tour typically fields seven riders. With 22 teams taking part, that means a start field of over 150 riders. The exact line-up per team, including who the team leader is, is normally only confirmed shortly before the start, depending on form, injuries and each team's race planning.
The Belgian teams
Three Belgian WorldTeams normally start their home race: Lotto-Intermarché (the team of defending champion Arnaud De Lie), Soudal Quick-Step and Mathieu van der Poel's team. As a stage race held entirely on Belgian soil, the Renewi Tour is traditionally a priority fixture on the calendar for these teams.
